چکیده

An additional independent control needed to eliminate the undesirable variable switching frequency of quasi-resonant converters can be obtained if the output rectifier is replaced by an active switch. The concept is applicable to all classes of quasi-resonant converters. It is demonstrated that in addition to operation at constant switching frequency, selected classes of constant-frequency quasi-resonant (CF-QR) topologies feature extended range of accessible conversion ratios and load currents. A practical example of a constant-frequency multi-resonant (CF-MR) buck converter operating at 2 MHz is described.

Introduction and Analysis of a Novel Quasi - Series Resonant DC Link

Soft Switcing techniques have recently been applied in the design of dc-ac converters, in order to achive better performance, higher efficiency, and power density. One of the soft switching techniques uesd in inverters is resonant dc links. These topologies have some disadvantages such as irregular current peaks, large voltage peaks, uncotrollble pulse width, etc. Another soft switching method ...

Determination of Resonance Frequency of Dominant and Higher Order Modes in Thin and Thick Circular Microstrip Patch Antennas with Superstrate by MWM (RESEARCH NOTE)

An accurate model named as the Modified Wolff Model (MWM) is presented as an efficient CAD tool for determination of resonant frequency of the dominant and higher order modes under the multi-layer condition in thin and thick circular microstrip patch antennas. The effects of dielectric cover on the resonant frequency obtained from MWM have been compared against the result of theoretical method ...

Large Amplitude Vibration Analysis of Graphene Sheets as Resonant Mass Sensors Using Mixed Pseudo-Spectral and Integral Quadrature Methods

The present paper investigates the potential application of graphene sheets with attached nanoparticles as resonant sensors by introducing a nonlocal shear deformation plate model. To take into account an elastic connection between the nanoplate and the attached nanoparticle, the nanoparticle is considered as a mass-spring system. Then, a combination of pseudo-spectral and integral quadrature m...

Forced vibration of piezoelectric nanowires based on nonlocal elasticity theory

In this paper, a numerical solution procedure is presented for the free and forced vibration of a piezoelectric nanowire under thermo-electro-mechanical loads based on the nonlocal elasticity theory within the framework of Timoshenko beam theory. The influences of surface piezoelectricity, surface elasticity and residual surface stress are taken into consideration. Using Hamilton’s principle, t...
